We use our hands to both reorganize and perceive the world, often simultaneously. My research focuses on the interplay between motor and sensory function in the hand, and particularly how the physical structure of the hand informs hand use.

As of August 2021 I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at San Diego State University, where I run the Sensation in Motion Lab. Between May 2018 and August 2021 I was a postdoctoral associate with Andrew Pruszynski and the Sensorimotor Superlab at Western University in Canada.
